A nice service:
Even if I am a tourist who loves organizing everything by himself, booking at the last moment and travelling with any kinds of means, I have to
recognize that finding a shuttle service waiting for me at the airport, train station or harbour in an unknown place is a great service.
Some negative experiences:
While travelling abroad, I often had to quarrel with unscrupulous taxi drivers because of rates we had previously negotiated and they wanted to rediscuss during
the trip, due to traffic conditions, motorway or bridge tolls or because of other ridiculous reasons. It happened in the USA, Russia or in the Far East.
The public means of transport departing from airports are often expensive, difficult to find and offer only few and sometimes unclear connections.
I am an experienced traveller. Nonetheless I cannot help finding myself in such situations.
Aim of the shuttle service:
When I first thought of this service, I mainly wanted to offer my guests a nice, stress-free and
pleasant trip to the Hotel Clelia Logis d'Italia - located between the Cinque Terre and Portofino.
The minibus shuttle service is first of all dedicated to the guests staying at our hotel for some days,
but it is available also to the short-stay guests according to the season and to our workload.
The service must be booked in advance and we highly recommend you to check its availability first.
In the event of a railway strike, we ensure a transfer service to the Cinque Terre and Portofino.
Genoa and Pisa airports:
The airports in Genoa and Pisa are the best-located airports to reach the Eastern Ligurian Riviera, the Cinque Terre and the Tigullio Gulf.
The airport in Genoa is about 70 km from our hotel and can be reached in 1 hour by car.
The airport of Pisa is 100 km far from Hotel Clelia and can be reached in 1 hour and 15 minutes.
We highly recommend to our guests to book the airport transfer together with the room, with some advance.
Milan airport and other destinations:
Reaching Malpensa or Linate airport takes about 3 hours, since the distance between the Hotel Clelia and these airports is of 230 km.
We also offer a transfer service to the next hotel you booked for your holiday, if it is located within a distance of 200 km.
In the surroundings of Deiva Marina:
Our service can also take you on interesting itineraries, to the train station of Sestri Levante (16 km away from our hotel),
to the train station of La Spezia (45 km away), to the path "Altavia dei Monti Liguri" (30 km away) or to the pass "Passo del Bracco" (16 km away),
where you can also visit the ruins on San Nicolao mountain. We can also take you to Castagnola or to Costa di Framura,
from where you can easily reach the new cycling path Framura - Bonassola - Levanto.
Local tours:
Our minibus shuttle service can also be booked to reach the train station of Deiva Marina (200 m from the hotel) and the train station in Moneglia (3 km away),
as well as spots in Deiva Marina and in the closest surroundings - such as the local garage if you need mechanic assistance for your car.
We can also drive you home from our restaurant if you fear consequences for your driving licence.
The Hotel Clelia Logis d’Italia features comfortable rooms and a suite with full or half board and B&B arrangements as well as an a la carte restaurant.
If you prefer spending an independent holiday, we suggest you to book our holiday apartments in Deiva Marina and the Cinque Terre.
