Leave the stress of the big city behind you and visit the town of Deiva Marina.
This seaside resort town is very easy to reach from all the Northern Italian regions as well as France, Switzerland,
Austria, Germany and Slovenia, thanks to an excellent motorway network, which is however a little expensive.
If you are not in a hurry, you can drive along the national and provincial roads, which are a perfect alternative to the motorways
with a wonderful view of the landscape. Travelling by train is quite cheap, and the railway network is very widespread.
The airports in Genoa and in Pisa offer a good possibility to combine low cost flights with train connections or car hire.
The Hotel Clelia Logis d'Italia also offers a shuttle service with a minibus to simplify your airport transfer.
There are connections by boat from the harbour of Genoa to the Eastern Ligurian Riviera, to Corsica, Sardinia, Tunisia, Spain and Morocco.
Parking your car in Deiva Marina will not be a problem as there are many parking areas in the town (paid parking in summer and free parking in winter).
Parking your car on the property of Hotel Clelia Logis is free all the year long, and there is a paid private car park 200 m from the hotel.
Deiva Marina is a safe and quiet resort town any time of the day or night, perfect for a holiday with your family and your children.
You can also get around easily by walking, without even having to move the car from its parking place.
Deiva Marina is a comfortable tourist resort town on the Eastern Ligurian Riviera and is a tiny town that is perfect for a seaside holiday in the summer or for excursions
to the Cinque Terre, Portofino and to the most beautiful towns along the Eastern Ligurian Riviera, between Genoa, La Spezia and Tuscany, in every season.
Spacious beaches and clean sea:
Our beaches, which are characterised by soft sand that turns into small pebbles at the shoreline,
is about 800 m wide and is one of the most beautiful and renowned among the beaches of the Eastern Ligurian Riviera.
The sea water is clean, crystal clear and pollution-free. This has led to Deiva Marina being awarded the European Blue Flag recognition for many years in the past.
Unlike the Adriatic shores and Versilia, the sea is very deep after just a few meters from the shore.
This keeps the water clean even after a day with many tourists.
There is a webcam on the sea and beach that is active 24/7 on this website or on other weather websites.
The webcam has been activated by the consortium "deiva.com" and is positioned on the bathing establishment
"Arcobaleno" in order to monitor the sea conditions during the day. This allows us to see if it is calm or rough so that tourists may plan their holidays better.
In addition, a view of the rough Tyrrhenian Sea is unbelievably beautiful. The network of paths around Deiva Marina is in no way inferior to the paths in the Cinque Terre.
In addition, these paths are completely for free and connect the villages in the surrounding area, such as Moneglia, Riva Trigoso,
Sestri Levante, when going towards Portofino and Framura, Bonassola or Levanto, when going towards the Cinque Terre.
Another path runs northwards and reaches the passage "Passo del Bracco" and continues on to a height of 800 m above the sea level towards Mount San Nicolao.
In this area archaeological remains that date back to the Medieval period have been recently discovered.
The route then reaches Velva, Varese Ligure and the path "Alta Via dei Monti Liguri" (High Path of the Ligurian Mountains).
Maps, plans, leaflets and photos are always available at the hotel.
The cycle and pedestrian path of Framura, Bonassola, Levanto is easy to reach from Deiva Marina.
It only takes five minutes by train and you can even take your bike with you. If you would rather take a walking tour, it will take you about two hours.
The path is very easy if you travel by bike or with the hotel minibus.
It is a comfortable and shady path that runs through the ancient tunnels of the steam train tracks.
When the sea is stormy the view from this path is breathtaking. The weather in Deiva Marina is mild in the winter, windy in the summer as it lies in a wide and deep valley.
This valley boasts a wonderful green landscape and the Mount San Nicolao that reaches up to 880 m above sea level.
A fresh northern breeze during the summer guarantees a relatively low level of humidity during the day and a pleasant cool temperature at night.
You will have the chance to practise sports in town and the surroundings or along the Riviera.
A small town but with the all the essential facilities, perfect to spend a pleasant holiday.
The train station is just 200 m away, the motorway 8 km away, and the bathing facilities of Lido and Stella 100 m from the hotel.
There is also nautical garaging and free docking "Deiva Marina Service" for the daily care of the boats.
In the months of July and August there is a boat connection to the Cinque Terre and Portofino.
Other services and facilities include motorcycle rental, free bike hire at the hotel, Police (Carabinieri) station,
traffic police, city hall, public assistance service, post office, shops, restaurants, pizzerias and focaccia shops.
